  • 9x13-inch baking pan

Ingredients

For the Brownie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for frosting
  • a few drops green food coloring
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat until completely melted. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled melted butter with granulated sugar and stir until smooth and glossy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition to form a thick batter.
  • Stir in vanilla extract until just combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into a prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack for about an hour.
  • Prepare chocolate ice cream cones by melting chocolate and dipping tops, then decorate with sprinkles.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and green food coloring until smooth.
  • Once brownies are cool, generously frost with the green frosting.
  • Assemble by placing an inverted chocolate cone on each frosted brownie and add more sprinkles.

Notes

Allow the brownies to cool completely before decorating to prevent melting the frosting or cones.
