  • In a large pot, boil salted water and add the dry lasagna noodles. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in the skillet until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, and parsley. Let simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, beaten egg, and chopped parsley until creamy.
  • Layer the lasagna in a greased baking dish, starting with meat sauce, then noodles, ricotta mixture, repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan over the final layer of meat sauce.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
