  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding 1 tablespoon of neutral oil. Allow the oil to shimmer for about 1 minute.
  • Add 1 pound of ground turkey to the hot skillet, using a wooden spoon to break it apart as it cooks. Stir frequently for about 6-7 minutes.
  • Lower the skillet heat to medium and add the 4 minced garlic cloves to the pan. Cook for about 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup honey, ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, and ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet with the cooked turkey. Stir thoroughly to ensure the turkey is evenly coated.
  • Let the mixture simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Stir in most of the sliced green onions, removing the skillet from heat.
