  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper Adds warmth.

For the “Pupils”

  • 16 small olives pitted

Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Clean the large white or cremini mushrooms and remove the stems.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mushroom stems with cream cheese, sausage, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff the mushroom caps with the filling.
  • Grease your baking sheet and place stuffed mushrooms on it.
  • Press a small pitted olive into the center of each stuffed mushroom.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These stuffed mushrooms are best enjoyed warm. If making ahead, reheat in the oven to restore flavors.
