Step-by-Step Instructions for Halloween Jello Shots

  • In a small saucepan, pour in 1 cup of water and stir in 2 packets of unflavored gelatin. Heat gently over low heat until dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and add half of the sweetened condensed milk to the gelatin mixture. Stir until smooth.
  • Divide the creamy mixture into shot glasses, filling each one about one-third full. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Pour 1 cup of water into a clean saucepan and stir in the remaining unflavored gelatin packet. Heat on low until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat, mix in the orange Jell-O, then combine with orange juice. Pour this mixture over the chilled creamy layer.
  • Once the orange layer is firm, retrieve the reserved creamy mixture, add yellow food coloring, and pour over the set orange layer.
  • Chill the completed shots in the refrigerator for an additional 2 hours, then garnish with candy corn before serving.
