  • Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to shimmer.
  • Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and 2 chopped green chilies to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Introduce 1 diced carrot and 1 diced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, allowing them to soften.
  • Add 1 cup of frozen peas to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently until heated through.
  • Fold in 3 cups of cooled, cooked jasmine rice, using a spatula to break up clumps. Stir for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Continue to stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until the rice is slightly toasted and the vegetables are melded.
  • Drizzle in 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Toss until well combined.
