  • 2 cups shredded chicken use leftovers or rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce store-bought works perfectly
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh minced garlic as substitute
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning can use fresh herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper or white pepper for milder flavor

For the Dough

  • 1 package pizza dough homemade or store-bought

For the Topping

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese can mix with parmesan for extra flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter as alternative
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation Steps

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the filling ingredients until creamy and well-blended. Set aside while preheating the oven.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x16 inches.
  • Spread the chicken filling evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the filling.
  • Carefully roll the dough tightly to form a log shape and pinch the seams to seal.
  • Place the rolled dough seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the top of the dough with olive oil for a golden crust.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Soft Alfredo Chicken Bread can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
