Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat 6 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Allow the butter to melt completely, watching it bubble gently, which should take about 1-2 minutes.
  • Once the butter is melted, add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes, stirring continuously until it becomes fragrant and slightly golden.
  • Next, season 4 scallops with 1 teaspoon of salt and gently place them in the skillet. Cook the scallops for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • After the scallops are perfectly cooked, add 1 pound of peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Stir gently to coat the shrimp in the garlic butter sauce, and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • When both the scallops and shrimp are cooked to perfection, remove the skillet from heat. Serve immediately to enjoy.
