Equipment

  • Large nonstick skillet

Ingredients

For the Stir Fry

  • 1 lb frozen potstickers or dumplings these provide the heart of the dish and offer a tasty, chewy texture.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil helps achieve that perfect crispiness on the potstickers.
  • 2 cloves garlic minced adds a fragrant depth to your stir fry that everyone loves.
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced brightens the flavors and enhances the overall aroma.
  • 1 medium bell pepper sliced brings sweetness and vibrant color to your plate.
  • 1 cup snow peas these add a delightful crunch and freshness to the mix.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets packs a nutritional punch while adding a lovely green hue.
  • 1 medium carrot julienned for both color and a slight sweetness that balances the dish.

For the Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce the essential flavor base that ties the whole dish together.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar adds a touch of acidity that brightens the flavors.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil introduces a rich, nutty flavor and aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnishing; they add both texture and visual appeal.
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped provide a pop of color and fresh flavor.

Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and allow it to shimmer, about 1 minute.
  • Gently place frozen potstickers into the skillet. Sear for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, reduce heat slightly and add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Toss in sliced bell pepper, snow peas, broccoli florets, and julienned carrot. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes, ensuring vegetables are tender-crisp and vibrant.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Return crispy potstickers to the skillet. Pour prepared sauce over everything, stirring well to coat. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in a skillet for best texture.
