Cooking Steps

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add 10 ounces of rigatoni pasta and cook until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  • While the pasta cooks, season 1 pound of sliced steak generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Sauté 3 cloves of minced garlic and ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes for about 1 minute.
  • Pour in 1 cup of beef broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in ½ cup of heavy cream and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the cooked steak to the skillet, add the drained rigatoni and ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together gently.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
