Steps

  • Prepare the jalapenos by removing the stems and seeds, then roughly chop them.
  • Sauté the chopped jalapenos and minced garlic in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Allow the mixture to cool before transferring it to a blender.
  • Blend the cooled mixture with sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • If the sauce is too thick, gradually add milk while blending until desired consistency is achieved.
  • Taste and adjust with more salt, pepper, or lime juice if needed. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
