Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  • Pour in the warm water and melted butter into the flour mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  • Punch the dough down gently, divide into 12 equal pieces, and flatten each piece.
  • Place one tablespoon of mozzarella in the center and fold the dough over to create a ball, sealing the edges.
  • Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in garlic, parsley, and optional garlic powder.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
