Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 200°F to keep the pork chops warm.
  • Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  • Coat the pork chops in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Fry the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer cooked chops to a baking sheet to keep warm in the oven.
  • In the same skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy.
  • Stir in flour to form a roux and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gradually whisk in milk until smooth and simmer.
  • Cook gravy until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Season the gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the pork chops hot, topped with bacon gravy.
