Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Start by placing the mozzarella string cheese sticks in the freezer for 2-4 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
  • Unroll one tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form a rectangle. Cut this rectangle into strips about 1 inch wide.
  • Take a frozen mozzarella stick and carefully wrap it with the strips of crescent dough, ensuring the cheese is completely covered.
  • Place the wrapped mummies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they have a little space between each one.
  • Chill the assembled mummies in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before baking.
  • Once chilled, bake the Mummy Mozzarella Sticks in your preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes.
  • After baking, press two candy eyes into each warm mummy before they cool.
