Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Beef Lasagna

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in 3 cups of marinara sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, and 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning into the skillet. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  • Spread ⅓ of the ricotta cheese over the noodles, followed by ⅓ of the mozzarella and ⅓ of the Parmesan cheese.
  • Repeat the layering process two more times, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
