  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder for depth of flavor

  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar to tenderize

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs and trim any excess fat. Rinse and pat dry.
  • Mix salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
  • Rub the dry mixture generously over both sides of the ribs and let sit for 15-30 minutes.
  • Place the seasoned ribs upright in the slow cooker and drizzle apple cider vinegar over them. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  • Preheat the oven's broiler and transfer the ribs to a baking sheet lined with foil.
  • Brush BBQ sauce over the ribs and broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
  • Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones before serving.
