Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta Choose your favorite type, such as fettuccine or penne.

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Grilled or sautéed.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking chicken.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt Use sea salt.
  • to taste black pepper Use freshly cracked black pepper.

For the Creamy Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 piece lemon Zest and juice needed.
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter

For Garnish

  • to taste fresh parsley Chopped.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Cook the pasta by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Then, drain and set aside.
  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for about 6–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and slice.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Once melted, pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  • Stir in the zest and juice of the lemon along with Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the cream sauce, tossing to coat. Arrange sliced chicken on top.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftover pasta in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze portions for up to 3 months. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of chicken broth.
