  • In a small bowl, combine the white miso paste, mirin, sake, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and finely grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a dish, pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the broiler with the oven rack positioned about 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly coat it with cooking spray or oil.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and place skin-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Broil the salmon for 8-10 minutes, monitoring until cooked through and golden brown.
