  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder until no clumps remain.
  • Add corn syrup, salt, and peppermint extract to the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  • Dust your work surface with powdered sugar, turn out the dough, and gently knead for about a minute.
  • Divide the dough into small portions, roll each into a ball, and flatten into discs.
  • Place the discs on a baking sheet and freeze for about 30 minutes.
  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between.
  • Dip each chilled disc into the melted chocolate and lift out with a fork.
  • Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top of each coated patty before chocolate hardens.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 20-30 minutes until chocolate is hardened.
