  • In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour and unsalted butter, blending until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice-cold water, mixing until the dough holds together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add sliced yellow onions. Sauté for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and fresh thyme.
