Instructions
 

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Sprinkle flour over garlic and butter, stirring continuously for about 1 minute until smooth.
  • Whisk in heavy cream and broth. Cook for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  • Reduce heat, add Parmesan cheese, and stir until melted and smooth.
  • Fold cooked pasta into the creamy sauce.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
