Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Combine mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond or oat milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl, mixing until creamy.
  • In another bowl, whisk together baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour, then add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Gently fold in rolled oats into the batter.
  • Mix melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl to create the cinnamon swirl.
  • Pour half the batter into the loaf pan and drizzle half the cinnamon swirl over it.
  • Top with remaining batter and swirl in the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  • Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Whisk together powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened vegan cream cheese for the glaze, then drizzle it over the cooled loaf.
  • Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Ensure bananas are very ripe for best flavor. Don't overmix to keep bread fluffy.
