Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the focaccia bread horizontally to create two halves.
  • Drizzle the inside of both halves with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Layer the bottom half with torn burrata cheese.
  • Add slices of heirloom tomato evenly on top of the burrata.
  • Sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the tomatoes.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the basil and tomatoes.
  • Top with the other half of focaccia, pressing down lightly.
  • Warm in the oven for 5-10 minutes if desired.
  • Slice and serve immediately.
