  • 1 pound deveined and peeled shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons Ava Jane's Kitchen Blackened Fish Seasoning substitute with Cajun or Creole seasoning if needed
  • 2 tablespoons Ava Jane’s Kitchen Avocado Oil or swap with olive or canola oil

For the Sauce

  • 1 cup heavy cream can opt for light cream for a healthier version

For the Pasta

  • 12 ounces cheese ravioli or any filled pasta

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for CAJUN SHRIMP TORTELLINI

  • In a small bowl, toss the deveined and peeled shrimp with Ava Jane's Kitchen Blackened Fish seasoning until well coated. Let the shrimp marinate for about 5 minutes.
  • Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and pour in 2 tablespoons of Ava Jane’s Kitchen avocado oil. Once hot, carefully add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and sauté for about 3–4 minutes.
  • In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring gently to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the cooked cheese ravioli directly into the simmering cream sauce, along with the sautéed shrimp. Gently fold everything for about 1–2 minutes until well coated.
  • Once combined, promptly serve your dish in warm bowls. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
