Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and cover your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Heat 3 tablespoons of coconut oil in a large pot over medium heat. Test with a few kernels, once they pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels.
  • Sprinkle popcorn salt over the freshly popped corn and toss evenly. Transfer to large bowls and sift out unpopped kernels.
  • Divide 2 cups of white chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil into three bowls. Microwave each bowl in 30-second intervals until melted, stirring in between.
  • Add 2-3 drops of orange food coloring to one bowl of melted chocolate, mix well, then pour over popcorn and combine thoroughly.
  • Spread the chocolate-coated popcorn on a baking sheet and sprinkle with one-third of your mix-ins. Let it dry.
  • Repeat the melting and coloring process for the green and purple chocolate, topping with corresponding mix-ins each time.
  • Allow all coated popcorn to sit for about 5 minutes to set. Break into pieces for serving.
