  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder for chocolatey flavor
  • ½ cup Peanut butter creamy consistency
  • 1 cup Gluten-free rolled oats for chewy texture

  • 4 bars Licorice bars for fun decorations
  • 1 cup Candy eyeballs for a spooky finish

Instructions

  • Blend the pitted Medjool dates in a food processor for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • Combine gluten-free rolled oats, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and peanuts with the date paste in the processor and blend for 1-2 minutes.
  • Shape mixture into 1-inch balls, aiming for about 16 total.
  • Press two candy eyeballs into the top of each ball.
  • Cut licorice bars into thin strips for decorations.
  • Cut tiny bat wings and spider legs from licorice strips and set aside.
  • Attach licorice strips to the sides of the balls as desired.
  • Chill decorated energy balls in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes to firm up.
