  • Heat the skillet: Begin by heating 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Allow the oil to shimmer for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Sauté the onion: Peel and finely chop ½ medium onion. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft and translucent.
  • Add the garlic: Mince 2 cloves of garlic and stir into the skillet. Sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Cook the ground turkey: Crumble 1 pound of ground turkey into the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes until fully browned.
  • Prepare the zucchini: Wash 2 medium zucchinis, trim the ends, and slice into half-moon shapes about ¼ inch thick.
  • Incorporate the zucchini: Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet. Stir and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • Season the skillet: Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of oregano, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, and ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
  • Add chicken broth: Pour in ¼ cup of chicken broth and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Melt the cheese: Once tender, sprinkle ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the skillet and stir until melted.
