  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Score the fat side of the pork belly with a sharp knife and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sear the pork belly fat side down for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Transfer the seared pork belly to a roasting pan and brush half of the glaze over the meat.
  • Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce to 350°F (175°C) and continue for 40 minutes.

  • Let the pork belly rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
