  • Begin by patting the cod fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, brown sugar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic until smooth.
  • Place a large skillet over medium heat and add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  • Carefully add the seasoned cod fillets to the skillet, spacing them out. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Gently flip the fillets and pour the ginger soy glaze over them.
  • Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet, cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
