  • 3 oz tonic water Light and bubbly mixer

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and hot water over low heat. Stir continuously until the sugar fully dissolves, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool completely, about 10 minutes.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  • Add the cooled simple syrup, gin, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and more ice to the shaker.
  • Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
  • Gently pour tonic water over the cocktail.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a lemon wheel on the rim.

Notes
