  • ½ cup Melted chocolate acts as glue to attach candy eyes and red noses.
  • 1 pack Candy eyes adds a whimsical touch to your reindeer.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Sift together the powdered sugar and almond flour in a mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the sifted almond flour and powdered sugar mixture into the egg whites.
  • Transfer the macaron batter into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
  • Pipe small circles on lined baking sheets, ensuring they are spaced evenly.
  • Tap the baking sheets to release any trapped air bubbles.
  • Let the piped macarons rest until a skin forms on the surface.
  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and bake the macarons for 15-18 minutes.
  • Once baked, allow the macarons to cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • Heat the heavy cream until just boiling and pour it over the chopped dark chocolate.
  • Pair up the cooled macaron shells and pipe chocolate ganache onto one side.
  • Attach the other macaron shell on top to create a sandwich.
