Step-by-Step Instructions for Spinach Puffs

  • Sauté the Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onion for about 5 minutes until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Cook the Spinach: Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the cooled spinach mixture with ricotta, feta, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until creamy.
  • Prepare the Pastry: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry and cut into 3-inch squares or circles.
