  • In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Gradually add buttermilk until a sticky batter forms, then fold in cheese and cooked sausage.
  • Pour melted butter into the baking dish, spreading it evenly. Spoon biscuit dough on top, spreading it to cover the butter.
  • Cut the dough into 9 equal squares using a sharp knife.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, rotating halfway through for even baking.
