Preparation Steps

  • Halve the avocados, remove pits, scoop flesh into bowl, and mash until smooth. This should take about 2 minutes.
  • Add lime juice and salt to the mashed avocados. Mix thoroughly for another minute.
  • Fold in diced onions, medium tomato, and chopped cilantro. Stir gently for 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer guacamole to a serving dish, spreading evenly and leaving an indentation in the center.
  • Sprinkle crushed blue corn chips over the guacamole, covering it completely.
  • Place sliced black olives on top to create little spider shapes.

Notes

Best served fresh. Add toppings just before serving to maintain their texture. Avocados should yield slightly to pressure for optimal ripeness.
