Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs a buttery base that provides the perfect crunch
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar sweetens the crust slightly
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted to hold the crust together

Cheesecake Filling

  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar adds sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for flavor

Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream for texture
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar to sweeten the cream

Topping

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • ¼ cup strawberry preserves optional for glaze

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Whip heavy cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form. Add powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture gently until well combined.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust and smooth the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  • Combine hulled and sliced strawberries with optional strawberry preserves in a bowl. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Remove cheesecake from refrigerator, top with marinated strawberries evenly, cut into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for smoother mixing and avoid over-whipping the cream.
