Instructions

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a roaring boil over high heat. Add rotini pasta and cook according to the package instructions, typically around 8–10 minutes, until al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and sauté for about 5–7 minutes, until golden brown. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add more olive oil if necessary, then sauté the minced garlic for approximately 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well and let simmer for about 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Return the cooked sausage and drained rotini pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to ensure the pasta is coated in the sauce.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top. Serve hot.
