Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Sear for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Pour ¼ cup of honey BBQ sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  • Rinse 1 cup of jasmine rice under cold water. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Add rinsed rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Prepare 1 cup of mixed vegetables in a small pan by steaming or sautéing them until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
