Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, blend the sugar cookie mix, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms. Press this cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and let it cool completely.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  • Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  • Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of milk for about 2 minutes until thickened. Add the vanilla extract.
  • Pour and gently spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Dollop the remaining cup of whipped topping on top of the pudding layer and spread evenly.
