For the Sauce

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about ½ inch.
  • Combine Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  • Spread all-purpose flour on a separate plate and whisk together eggs and milk in another shallow dish.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • In a small saucepan, heat the remaining olive oil and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  • Stir in the chicken broth, bring to a simmer, then add heavy cream and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the garlic sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
