Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  • Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a rapid boil. Add noodles and cook them according to package instructions, usually around 4–5 minutes.
  • Carefully drain noodles in a colander without rinsing. Let them sit for a minute to allow excess water to drain.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, minced garlic, and chili oil. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the warm, drained noodles directly into the bowl and gently toss in the peanut sauce until evenly coated.
  • For extra flavor and color, stir in dark soy sauce into the peanut noodle mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Plate the peanut noodles, drizzle with chili oil and garnish with chopped cilantro and sliced green onions.
