  • Once the beef is browned, sprinkle in 1 cup of long-grain white rice and stir to combine.
  • Pour in 2 cups of beef broth, bringing it to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes.
  • After the rice is cooked, remove the lid and add ½ cup of heavy cream and 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Stir to create a creamy blend.
  • Gradually stir in 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
