  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add chopped bacon and sauté until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, keeping the fat in the skillet.
  • Add butter to the bacon fat in the skillet and melt. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually add grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  • Add cooked spaghetti and crispy bacon to the sauce, tossing until well-coated. Use reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
