For the Pasta and Cheese

  • 1 lb Rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large saucepan, brown the Italian sausage and lean ground beef over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in the marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper into the browned meat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Boil salted water and cook the rigatoni pasta until al dente, about 10-12 minutes, then drain and mix it with the meat sauce.
  • In a baking dish, spread half of the rigatoni mixture, layer with half of the cheeses, then repeat the layers.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving and enjoy!
