  • 2 large eggs bind ingredients for fudgy texture
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted for richness

For the Decoration

  • 1 tube white icing for mummy wrappings

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  • Melt the butter, let it cool slightly, then whisk in eggs until the mixture is smooth.
  • Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined; a few lumps are okay.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Cut into squares and drizzle with icing to create mummy wrappings. Add candies for eyes if desired.
